Behind Foundry616 is Peter Rechniewski, former Artistic Director and co-founder of the Sydney Improvised Music Association (SIMA), a passionate jazz aficionado dedicated to keeping Australian jazz centre stage and jazz generally on the arts radar.
The Street Food Markets are one of Sydney’s newest night markets, serving up authentic street food from around the world, and supporting refugee stallholders as they share with us their food and culture from home.
Taste flavours from Iran, Ethiopia, Colombia, Sierra Leone and more – under the stars at the Addison Road Community Centre.

Welcome to the biggest Annual African Festival in Australia! What an amazing, fun, festive and exciting day we bring you every year to spread African Food, Culture, Music, Dancing, Drums and more. The celebration is a one-day event that’s held in Wyatt Park, Lidcombe with the intent of bridging the cultural gap and awareness of Africans in Australia.

Location: Wyatt Park in Lidcombe is easily accessible by Train and Bus from all areas of Sydney. Wyatt Park is a short 3 – 5 minute walk from Lidcombe Train Station.

The New Beginnings: Refugee Arts & Culture Festival will begin with a free one-day event featuring live music, dance performances, workshops, food and market stalls.
New Beginnings 2016 is an initiative of Settlement Services International (SSI).
SSI is a leading community-based not-for-profit organisation providing a range of services in the areas of refugee settlement, asylum seeker assistance, housing, multicultural foster care, disability support and employment services in NSW.
The Auburn Festival is a celebration of the rich, vibrant and diverse culture of the local and surrounding region and our performances, entertainment, activities, food and stalls aim to represent and showcase all of those cultures and our wonderful community.
